A bagging machine is a packaging machine designed to dose and fill bags with various products, particularly powders and granules. Depending on the technology used, it can handle pre-made bags or form bags from a film reel. An automatic or semi-automatic bagging machine performs dosing and filling operations, with a level of automation adapted to production requirements. Depending on its configuration, it can also close and seal the bags.
For over 15 years, PROPACK has supplied and integrated ITALPACK automatic bagging machines for packaging flour, rice, pulses, sugar and other powdered or granular products into pre-made kraft paper bags.
Depending on the model and configuration, these machines can handle bags from 500 g to 12.5 kg, with production speeds ranging from 10 to 100 bags per minute, depending on product weight, bag dimensions and machine configuration.
Depending on the configuration and dosing system selected, the machine automatically picks up the pre-made bag, opens it, doses the product, fills the bag and then closes it. Different bag formats, dosing systems and closing solutions can be considered according to the product and required production speeds.
This technology uses pre-made paper bags. This approach simplifies machine operation, reduces the number of adjustments required and makes maintenance easier. It also helps achieve a more consistent appearance and a higher-quality finish for the bags.
